BrewIt

BrewIt Support

A little help
with your coffee journal.

Email brewit.support@gmail.com for help with BrewIt. You can also open Settings → Contact us in the app.

Include your app version, iOS version, what you were trying to do, and the error you saw. A screenshot can help; remove any information you do not want to share. Never send your password, sign-in codes, or password-reset links.

Signing in

Use the email address associated with your account. If you have forgotten your password, choose Forgot password on the sign-in screen. Check your inbox and spam folder for confirmation or password-reset messages.

Saving a journal entry

If saving fails, your current draft stays available so you can check your connection and retry. Review the entry and its privacy choice before submitting it again.

Location and photos

Location access is optional. You can manage location, camera, and photo permissions under BrewIt in iOS Settings. If location is unavailable, you can still browse the configured city's shops and select a shop yourself.

Privacy and unwanted interactions

Account privacy and an entry's sharing choice control different things. A private entry stays in your journal; a shared entry follows your account's visibility rules.

Use the report flag on a post to report inappropriate content. To block someone, open their profile and use its account actions. Choose the closest report reason and explain the issue when selecting Something else. Do not include passwords or other sign-in credentials in reports.

Editing or deleting entries

Open an entry you own and use its menu to edit drinks, edit its note or photo, or delete it. Deletion removes the entry from BrewIt; copies previously exported outside the app remain outside its control.

Deleting your account

Open Settings → Delete account and follow the confirmation steps, including entering DELETE.

The app removes your uploaded photos and avatar before deleting the account. If a connection or service error interrupts the process, remain signed in and try again. Some images may already have been removed even when the account deletion has not finished. Contact support if the error persists.

Moderation reports and copies exported outside the app are treated separately, as explained in the Privacy Policy. Do not delete your account simply to fix a sign-in or display problem; contact support first if you want to keep your journal.

Privacy questions

Email brewit.support@gmail.com and explain the information or account issue you want help with. If you cannot access your account, you can request help with account deletion by email; we may need to verify account ownership. You do not need to send your password or a sign-in code.
